The three questions she asks: Who Is God? - Who am I? - Who is my Enemy?
Who is Cynthia
You can love God and still have areas of your life that are not free.
You can know Scripture and still struggle to live what you believe.
You can faithfully attend church, serve others, pray, and genuinely love Jesus while still carrying beliefs, hurts, fears, relational patterns, or ways of thinking that were shaped by life rather than by God's truth.
Sometimes you don't even realize how much those things have influenced you.
You simply know something isn't lining up.
You know there should be more than surviving, managing, coping, and repeating the same patterns.
I believe there is.
Jesus did not come so we could merely learn how to function with our broken places.
He came to make us free.
Hello, I'm Cynthia.
I am a minister, Bible teacher, and Christian discipleship mentor.
For more than 25 years, I have helped believers understand God's Word, recognize what is keeping them stuck, and learn how to actually live what they say they believe.
But I didn't learn those things only from a classroom or a Bible study.
I had to learn them in my own life.
There was a time when fear and panic controlled much of how I lived.
I knew about God, but knowing about Him and learning to walk with Him were two very different things.
Over the years, God began exposing beliefs I had accepted, ways of thinking that needed to change, wounds that needed healing, and places where my life needed to come into alignment with His Word.
That process changed the way I minister to people today.
I don't believe people simply need more information.
Most Christians already have access to more teaching than they could ever consume.
The question is:
Is what you know changing how you live?
Because information without implementation is entertainment.
What I believe about transformation
Real transformation happens when biblical truth moves beyond something we agree with and becomes something we live.
That means learning to recognize:
*What God says is true.
*Who you are because of Jesus.
*What experiences, relationships, wounds, or false beliefs have taught you to believe instead.
*How the enemy uses deception to keep those beliefs and patterns operating.
*And what it looks like to intentionally bring your thoughts, choices, relationships, emotions, and everyday life back into alignment with God's truth.
That is where freedom begins to become a way of life.
My approach is Scripture first.
I am not interested in helping you simply feel better about something that needs to change.
And I am not interested in condemning you for struggling.
I want to help you uncover what is actually happening, identify the root, bring it into the light of God's Word, and give you practical tools to begin walking differently.
Sometimes that means discipleship.
Sometimes it means renewing the mind.
Sometimes it means addressing wounds from the past.
Sometimes it means recognizing unhealthy patterns or false beliefs.
Sometimes there may be spiritual warfare involved.
And sometimes we simply need someone willing to ask the questions no one else has asked.
The goal is not dependence on me.
The goal is maturity, freedom, and learning to walk with God for yourself.
Why this matters so much to me
One of the Scriptures that has shaped my calling is Isaiah 49:9:
“Come out” … “Be free” … “Feed” … “Find pasture.”
Those words describe much of what I believe God has called me to do.
Help people come out of what has held them
.
Help them walk in freedom.
Feed them the truth of God's Word.
And help them learn to walk with God into the life He has for them.
I believe Christians can spend years sitting in church while never being taught how all the pieces fit together.
Knowing God.
Identity in Jesus.
The Holy Spirit.
Renewing the mind.
Healing.
Spiritual warfare.
Obedience.
Discipleship.
Maturity.
These are not separate subjects.
They are part of learning how to walk with Jesus.
A little about my background
I have been involved in Christian ministry for more than 25 years and was licensed and ordained in 2000.
I am a graduate of the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry with a degree in Pastoral Studies.
I serve in local church ministry, teach and mentor believers, develop Christian discipleship resources, and co-founded DL Martin Ministries, Inc. with my husband, Dean.
I am also a wife, mother of six adult children, a grandmother and yep its true I'm a great grandmother as well.
I have spent much of my life learning, researching, teaching, developing people, and helping them connect the pieces.
And after all these years, I remain convinced of something very simple:
God never intended Christianity to be something we merely know about.
He invites us to walk with Him.
You don't have to stay where you are.
Maybe you have spent years taking care of everyone else.
Maybe you know there are things from your past that still affect your present.
Maybe you are beginning to recognize patterns you don't want to carry into your future.
Maybe you love God but realize there is a gap between what you believe and how you actually live.
Or maybe you simply know:
Something needs to change.
You do not have to figure all of it out at once.
But you do need to be willing to take the next faithful step.
Let's find out what that step is.
